Tea Time: Matcha Green!

 Hi friends! <3

Trying out this one I got from the Daiso store in NYC last year.

$5- Ito En: Matcha Green- Japan

Opening it up...

Single sachet...

Little triangular shaped bag...

Got it steeped up...

Such a lovely color <3

Thoughts:

I really liked this one! It had a nice taste with nothing weird or artificial. I found it interesting that the tea bag contained both loose leaf and ground tea leaves. The steep time was super short too; only 30 seconds. The price is a bit higher than I would normally spend, but it is worth it and I would definitely get this again.

June Sip Down Progress & July Goals!

Hi friends! <3

Continuing on my sip downs...

In June, I had Organic Green and a few Bentley's Raspberry Green. Continued with Cookie Dough, Fireside Mocha, and snuck in some Glitter Chai. Started Cherry Almond. Am close to the end on a couple. The Organic Green was alright, but I would not purchase it.

I bought some more tea and tea ware. The travel mug has green glitter! The butterfly mug has an interesting shape along with beautiful and detailed butterflies. Not sure what I'm going to use the cherry print jar for, maybe to keep samples or my spoons in?

For July, I am going to finish Raspberry Green, Cookie Dough, and Cherry Almond. Continue with Fireside Mocha and Sweet Tart. Start Matcha Green, Peanut Butter, Belgian Chocolate, and Paris.

Thoughts:

This pair is similar to my other one, except that the gold part has metallic threads. This does make it a little less stretchy width-wise but it still fits alright. I'm glad to have found these as they will go nicely with my dark green blouse.

Tea Time: Cherry Almond!

 Hi friends! <3

Trying out this tea I got from a booth at a county fair.

$2.75- Teas by Milly: Cherry Almond- USA

Let's steep it up...

Ready...

Thoughts:

This tea smells lightly fruity and nutty. It brewed up a dark golden brown color. The taste is that of  mellow cherry with a light nuttiness. There is a slightly bitter aftertaste, perhaps the rose? It was pretty good overall, and I would get this again.

May Sip Down Progress & June Goals!

 Hi friends! <3

Continuing on my sip downs...

In May, I finished a bag of Movie Night, along with Matcha, White Tea, Silk Dragon Jasmine, and Pure Matcha. Had some Golden Dragon, Sweet Tart, and Cookie Dough. I found out Cookie Dough is good hot, and Sweet Tart makes a great iced tea with some sugar.

I placed my first order with Harney & Sons online for the Cherry Blossom tea. It sounded interesting. They also sent me two free samples. The Paris one I've had before at lolita tea parties and really enjoyed.

I bought a bunch of tea ware too. I wanted some bright and colorful things for the upcoming summertime.

For June, I am going to continue with Cookie Dough, Sweet Tart, and Fireside Mocha. Start on Belgian Chocolate, Cherry Almond, Peanut Butter Cup, Matcha Green, Organic Green, and Paris.
