Tea Time: Belgian Chocolate!

 Hi friends! <3

Trying out this tea I got from a booth at a county fair.

$2.75- Teas by Milly- NY (USA)

Steeping it up...

Yay, it's ready...

Such a nice chocolatey brown color...

Mmm...

Thoughts:

This tea was alright. It tasted vaguely like chocolate but kind of artificial. I might try it as a latte (with milk) next time and see if it improves the taste. I would probably not get it again.

Tea Time: Cherry Blossom!

 Hi friends! <3

I saw this new tea on the Harney & Sons website and decided to try it out.

$6.99- Harney & Sons: Cherry Blossom- NY (USA)

Single sachet...

Steeping it up...

Ooh that color...

Thoughts:

I liked this tea! It was more light and delicate than I expected with more of a cherry taste than green tea. You get a nice amount of sachets for the price, along with free shipping on your order. Although I usually prefer a stronger green tea, I might get this again.

Sacred Heart Collection Heart Ring MTO Opening!

 Hi friends! <3

Neant Glass had another mto going on, this time for the heart rings. I ordered pink and white. Apparently they were only making twenty of each piece, so I moved quickly lol.

Thoughts:

These are lovely! I think they would go well with my more sweet or classic dresses. I'm not sure if I'll keep the pink one. There are two or three different shades of pink in it which will make it difficult to match with things. I may just put it up for sale. We'll see.

Bishop Ring Opening!

 Hi friends! <3

So, I came across another Voodooodolly ring up for sale secondhand and ended up purchasing it.

"Stock" Pic

*Couldn't find an official stock pic, but found this on the Lolita Collective website which had the same rings for sale.

Thoughts:

I love the red and gold color combo! This ring is similar to the Beasts Dragon one in terms of size, quality, and materials used. I don't have much red jewelry and thought it would go nice with some of the stained glass prints I have or maybe even Holy Lantern. I'm very happy with it.

July Sip Down Progress & August Goals!

Hi friends! <3

Continuing with my sip downs...

I enjoyed learning how make cold brewed tea. I could do up a big pitcher at a time and have it ready to drink whenever I wanted. Perfect for summertime! Herbal tea seemed to work the best.

In July, I finished off Sweet Tart, Fireside Mocha, Raspberry Green, Cookie Dough, and Cherry Almond. Had a bottle of Jasmine Green along with a couple samples. Started on Matcha Green, Grand Cru, and Peanut Butter Cup.

I got some more tea... Tea Leafs is a semi-local tea shop that I had not known about. It was nice to visit and look around. I only got a few this time, but will have to go back sometime and try others.

And, I bought a few more tea ware items... I love the floral designs and the interesting shape of the green mug. The pattern on the teacup and saucer set is similar to something on one of my yukatas.

For August, I plan to continue with Matcha Green and Glitter Chai. Start on Cherry Blossom, Earl Grey, S'mores Chai, Belgian Chocolate, Chocolate Macaroon, Ice Cream Matcha, Sticky Rice Oolong, and Bonfire Toffee.
