My otks and the very last part of my Bodyline order arrived today :-)
Angelic Pretty: Marionette Clock Otks in pink
This Bodyline order will most likely be my last one. Ever since buying and wearing more brand items I have noticed the obvious differences in both the quality of the fabric, lace, and clearness of the prints. I will probably just buy the shoes second-hand and wear the jsks for casual days.
With the help of my boyfriend, I ordered 1 pair of shoes and 3 jsks from Bodyline back on February 15th. I couldn't wait for everything to arrive, but soon found out that I would be waiting for a far longer time than anticipated.
My order got split into 3 parts; which is really strange as 4 items is not a lot. I got one package on 3/6, another on 3/18, and the last on 3/26.
All the packages together at last...
First up... Shoes178 in blue
Next... "Carousel" jsk L144 in blue.
Finally... "Carousel" jsk L144 in pink and "Squirrel Party" jsk L391 in green.
On the "Squirrel Party" one I noticed it had the print backwards. Not sure if I want to keep it. Will wear it once and see. Otherwise I might just end up selling it.
All of the jsks together...
I had been wanting the shoes for awhile now. I have them in pink and black and love how comfy they are. The blue will match with a lot of things in my wardrobe. And I'm really glad to have gotten the other colors of the Carousel jsk. Now I own all 5 colorways: yellow, pink, blue, lavender, and black. The Squirrel Party one is cute, but I'm not so sure about the green color. Thought I'd try it and see.
I got my package from Angelic Pretty today. It's their latest print "Marine Kingdom." I first fell in love with the navy colorway when I saw preview images posted online. I love the undersea theme and how well all the various colors work together. Makes it less complicated to coord ;-)
I got the regular version of the jsk in navy, and the headbow in sax. I wanted to get the matching navy headbow and socks but they sold out very quickly :-( Maybe I'll find them for sale sometime.
And now onto the pics! <3
The little drawing the store included is adorable and I love the print/images on the dress. Using lace with shells was the perfect choice to go with the theme. Overall, it is very elegant looking with a hint of sweetness to it. I'm looking forward to planning a coord with it to wear once the weather is warmer.
I got a package today! It has a bunch of lavender accessories in it; with two of them being from off my wishlist :-)
The package arrived in a big bubble mailer that had a rip in the side. Thankfully nothing was damaged or lost. The seller had tucked everything inside the pony purse. Included were a pair of wrist cuffs, 2 hair clips, 1 bracelet, 1 necklace, and the purse (of course). I love it all <3
Crazy weekend as usual. Time seems to just fly by. Did some shopping and am taking a moment to relax with a nice hot cup of tea. I have an assortment of tea that I've acquired over time received as gifts from friends and family, or ones I just randomly picked up thinking "Hey, this sounds good. I'll give it a try."
I decided to try this one...
Tea Forte: Cucumber Mint (Organic green tea for youth recovery)
Description from label~ "Special reserve green tea with invigorating cool notes of cucumber fruit and fresh mint, with the taste of sweet, succulent blueberries."
It is a loose leaf tea that comes in a single serve pouch. Meaning one pouch makes one serving. Part of a sampler pack including four other types of which I will be trying out at some time.
Thoughts: Smells minty but not too strong it overwhelms you. Smooth taste with a hint of mint and a vague fruitiness that must be the cucumber? Not tasting any blueberries either. Still very yummy :-)
Picked up a couple blouses for lolita. One in brown and one in black. Dunno why, but brown is a hard to find color for me. And yes *another* black blouse, because you can never have enough black, huh? :-P
After shopping, I took some time to chill out with a green tea frapp from the local Starbucks :-)
