I had been hearing about Buyee and was curious to check it out. Needless to say, I ended up making an account and after a lot of browsing, ordered some things lol. The jsk was a Wishlist item. Two of the packages will not be shown in this opening. One was ordered for someone else, and the other is to be a gift at a future time.

Thoughts:
Everything was ordered from the Mercari tab on the Buyee website. I don't know Japanese, so I browsed in English and then searched in English by brand names one at a time. There were a lot of results that came up (especially for Angelic Pretty), but then you could filter by categories like newly listed or price. Results showed not only items by that brand, but other brands, cute/casual wear, cosplay, and handmade too. It made it somewhat time consuming to scroll through everything. Maybe there's a better way to search though. Anyone know? When you click on a listing, you can see pics, seller name, ratings, and other info about the item. There's even a translate button.
The site was fairly easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. I did have to make an account but that was expected. Click add to cart and then pay. Buyee kept in touch through email and was very prompt. I did have a question about ordering an op as the translated listing was somehow illegal to buy. I contacted them and got a reply the next day. Sadly the op was gone by then. But good to know in case I had more questions.
I started ordering in April with the last item ordered in May. I was able to take advantage of a couple coupons/discount codes as well. I was planning to have everything combined into one package and shipped soon after, but then Japan was not able to do EMS shipping to the US due to the pandemic. I waited in hopes that it would be available again, but then it got to be September and I was like forget it, I want my items. I consolidated my items and went with the only shipping option available, which was DHL. DHL cost about twice as much as EMS I think, but it was delivered quickly.
The items were in fairly good condition or as described. I am pleased with everything I received. The cat print is adorable. I know the bag handles are peeling badly and will need some attention right away. I wasn't originally looking for the bag, but it came with the dress, so I don't mind the extra effort. I plan to get some nice grosgrain ribbon to wrap them in. The ring is gorgeous. I had a Q-Pot ring before but I sold it due to it being so large and awkward to wear. This one is smaller and much better for me. The headdress I already have in two different colors, but wanted the navy as well. I think it will be quite useful when coording some of my dresses that don't have matching headbows. I would definitely order from Buyee again, maybe once shipping is back to normal though.

5/23 Received email stating fifth item had arrived at the warehouse
9/10 Package consolidation requested, received email stating request received
9/11 Received email stating consolidation completed, was prompted to login to account and pay that fee and choose shipping method, paid both
9/14 Received email stating payment completed, advises preparing to ship and will notify when shipped
9/16 Received email stating package shipped via DHL, tracking number provided
9/17 Arrived
