Thoughts:

This is so pretty! The side bow is cute and the trims give it an elegant feeling. I'm glad I found a seller who was willing to sell it by itself. I have the jsk it goes with and was unable to get the headbow when it came out. Now I'll have a matching set :-)

The Lolita Collective Order #1 Opening!

Around Halloween time there was an online virtual J-fashion event. There were all kinds of panels and vendors. One vendor, The Lolita Collective, was running a free shipping special that weekend. I had been to their booth at Ruffle Con and decided to order some items.

Thoughts:

I'm very pleased with everything I got. Both pins are gorgeous. I think those are definitely my favorites from the order! The strawberry on the necklace is so vibrant and realistic looking. I just love strawberries <3 The bats on the earrings are a bit thinner that I expected, but will feel super light when I wear them. The crosses on the bracelet do have some scratches on them, but they were on sale for $1, so I don't really mind. I'll probably wear it casually or with regular clothes. The bone clips are simple and cute. They remind me of a dark blue pair I got from Sweet Poison Cupcake. I'll have to check them out side by side lol.

Also wanted to mention that my order arrived in 3 parts. I'm not sure what the reason behind that was? I thought everything was in stock when I ordered. It's not like I order a lot or large items either. Wouldn't that cost more for them to ship that way? I mean shipping was free for me, and I wasn't in a hurry to get things what with shipping delays and all that from the pandemic still going on. But, it doesn't make sense for them to do that.

October Sip Down Progress & November Goals!

Continuing on my sip downs...

In October, I finished bonfire toffee. Tried dragon tea and a green lemon sample. Continued with glitter chai, cherry blossom, and bee the change. Started earl grey.

I got some new teas to try... Store branded jasmine green from the clearance section at Tops grocery store. The NecessiTeas: Cotton Candy from someone in a FB tea group that didn't want it. T2: Strawberries & Cream samples from my sister.

Dollar Tree had these Monster: Dragon teas that sounded interesting, along with a new calendar for the year which came with a bonus mini Tea Time calendar.

Also got my items from a shared DavidsTea order I did with my sister...

And of course, more thrifted tea ware! The white one with floral trim is by Teavana and the monster one is by DavidsTea. I'm very excited about the clear glass tea pots as I want to do a blooming tea someday and they will be perfect for that <3

For November, I plan to finish cherry blossom. Continue with bee the change and earl grey. Start caramel shortbread. (Sorry no picture this time. I thought I had taken one but had no luck finding it.)
