Snack Time: Taiwan Green Tea Cake!

Thoughts:

These were okay. You get eight pieces of cake in 1" x 1" squares. I think they could have been bigger, or had less/smaller packaging. When you first open it there is a cake-y, slightly coconut smell. Eating it, you get a buttery-coconut taste with a faint fruit flavor. The cake is fairly dry. I couldn't taste any green tea. It reminds me of a fig newton. I feel disappointed and will not be getting these again.

Getting back into the Snack Time series, I picked this up at an Asian grocery store...

Thoughts:

This was pretty yummy! It tastes like a slightly dry pancake. The red bean paste is good and not too sweet. There is a nice green tea flavor that is slightly grassy. You get five in a pack which I believe is worth the price. I also like how they are wrapped individually. I might get this again.

January Sip Down Progress!

Starting the year off...

In January, I finished up a box of Stash christmas eve. Drank some premade bottled ones. Continued working on Davidstea grand cru and blueberry matchas. Started Herbal Magick berry burst, Tea Leafs champagne raspberry, and Great Value sweet tea mix packets. Tried a few samples. The CuppaGeek one was good, but kinda tart. I liked Taylor's jasmine green tea best.

I ordered this one from the Wal-Mart website. I had tried it last month and really liked it...

And, I got all of these for free from a tea fan group online. I plan to share the chocolate truffle ones with my sister...

No tea ware was obtained this month.
