I don't really have any "fancy" dishes, but these square white ones are pretty close. They make a simple meal of pork and pasta feel like something special.

I read this one. One doesn't need to make friends just to have friends. I would rather my friends be someone who likes me as I am and enjoys my company.

I don't have any spray specific for linens so I used a mild scented body spray instead. Wild Citrus Sunflower from Bath & Body Works.

Dave and Buster's Meet-up!

Went to an arcade and restaurant with the local comm. It was super fun :-) I would have worn my black Bodyline shoes but it was snowing out.

For this meetup, I wore a sweet coord in white x pink x black.

Wardrobe Post: 2016!

It's time for the annual posting of the wardrobe! 

This is my third year doing one, but I've been into lolita since 2010.

This year I sold off a bunch of skirts and replaced them with jsks. I also bought some blouses and other accessories to go with what I already had. I feel like everything mixes and matches fairly well.

I also reviewed the wardrobe goals I set last year, and set new ones for this year. You can read about that over here.

My style is still fairly sweet but it now has a touch of elegance to it. I tend to prefer wearing pink and navy jsks with other colors making occasional appearances.

Day #2-9: 365 Lifestyle Lolita Challenge!

So I've been working along on the daily challenges and thought I'd share how it's going.

I've been to a few museums, but there are more out there that would be cool to check out sometime. Such as a carousel museum. It would be great to wear one of my carousel print jsks to. Can you say photo op? :-P

I chose my friend Courtney's wishlist. I seem to always be finding things that she would like ;-)

(Sorry no makeup. Had a busy day and was feeling tired :-P) This was an interesting challenge for me, since I don't usually do much with my hair. It's past my shoulders, thick, and wavy; so I usually just brush it, put on my headbow, and go. I looked up some tutorials to get ideas and went with 'looped braids.' It wasn't too difficult to do but I think it would have looked better if my hair was longer. Anyways, I think it still turned out pretty good. I might wear this style during the summer to help me keep cool.

Not a new book exactly, but started reading it awhile ago and then got distracted lol... So I will work on finishing it instead.

My alarm only has one setting for this, so no go there :-( If it had been changed to something more pleasant I would probably sleep right through it anyways.

My favorite dress is Star Night Theater jsk in blue <3 It was one of the dresses that first got me excited about wearing lolita. I got the headbow first and then the jsk a few years later. I love the cute suit buttons on the bodice, the top hat and bunny in the print, along with the adorable circus bear and ponies along the bottom border <3

White Linen Tea House <3 I love the elegant feeling it has, the delicious food, and browsing the antique shop next door after eating.

I chose The Little Mermaid since it's one of my favorites <3 Went with shades of blue that reminded me of the ocean with touches of white and gold. The headband is unique and ties in that little bit of orange from the mermaid's hair as well.
