Tea Time: Pumpkin Spice!

Since it's spooky season, I thought I'd try out a pumpkin spice tea.

Such a pretty orangey-brown color. Makes me think of fall leaves.

Thoughts:

This was pretty good. There are 20 sachets in the tin and shipping was free (no minimum required). My order also came with some very nice freebies (two samples, a sticker, and a catalog). When I opened the tin, there was a sweet and nutty smell with some spices. During steeping, I smelled cinnamon with a hint of pumpkin and spices. Drinking it, I tasted light sweet cinnamon with some pumpkin and spice. There was a faint cinnamon aftertaste too. Like after you've been chewing cinnamon gum for awhile. It was a nice light tasting tea. I would recommend it for those new to pumpkin spice tea or who want to enjoy a mild fall tea. I'm not sure if I would buy this again though. I prefer a stronger cinnamon taste.

Thoughts:

I love this jsk! The fabric is polyester, but super soft. It has colorful flowers and cute cats in the print. It reminds me of vintage valentines. The little buttons are shaped like roses too. Very pretty and elegant. The belt is removeable which is handy so I can wear it with other dresses. Unfortunately the tights were way too small for me. I will have to list them up for sale. I'm looking forward to wearing the jsk sometime soon. Perhaps for Valentine's Day?

September Sip Down Progress!

Sipping down, down, down...

In September, I tried a bunch of samples from my tea mail/swap group. Pomegranate burst was my favorite. It had a nice sweetness at the end instead of bitter. I don't think I like peach teas but preferred the Hyley's one over the Stash one as it had a nice strong ginger with a fresh juicy peach taste. Continued with David'sTea grand cru and blueberry matchas.

I made a small order from David'sTea since they had another free shipping offer. The travel mug was for my sister, but the rest is mine lol...
