Thoughts:

One of my friends had messaged me about seeing a wishlist item of mine (the pony ring) for sale on a website called Wunderwelt. I had never ordered from that site before but had heard of the name. They post a bunch of items every so often on Lacemarket. Their feedback had all positive ratings. I followed the link to the ring and wanted to get it. However, the price for shipping it overseas to me was about the same price as the ring itself. I decided to look around, thinking I might find something else to make ordering worthwhile. I lucked out and came across the jsk and headbow from the same series. That was on my wishlist too! Eagerly, the order was placed and I waited for the package to arrive.

Order placed: June 18
Received/paid invoice for items: June 18
Received/paid invoice for shipping: June 19
Arrived: June 26

I chose EMS shipping, which was fairly quick. Everything was packaged securely. They even included a bonus logo sticker. The condition of the items was better than I expected with little to no stains/damages. Also, when I registered for an account with them, I received a discount of about $5 off my order. The selection of items and prices were reasonable too. I would definitely buy from them again! Feel free to check out their website at https://www.wunderwelt.jp/en

So in reference to the rollercoaster ride of emotions... I was super excited about this package at first. It contained some of my top wishlist items. The ring I had been wanting to complete the jewelry set from the series. I had won it in an auction before but when I asked for the invoice the seller mysteriously "didn't have it anymore." I was glad to have found another one. This one is in beautiful condition with all the little sparkles intact. I also already had the purse from the series in lavender and would go nicely together in a coord. The jsk and headbow I had bought before; same color but the jsk was a different cut/version. It had ended up being too small so I tried searching for the other cut of the jsk hoping it would work out better. According to lolibrary it would fit me just fine. When I tried the other jsk on, I got a bad feeling. It seemed much smaller than it should be. I asked my boyfriend for help with the zipper. Between the two of us (me holding the sides together and him working the zipper up slowly) it only went up halfway before stopping. I tried holding my breath and pulling on the shirring more before realizing the sad truth; it wouldn't fit :-( I was heartbroken. Here was this beautiful jsk and headbow that I had been after and found at a great price and IT DIDN'T FIT... I changed into some comfy clothes and cried. My boyfriend tried to console me asking if it could maybe get altered. But I don't think it could be done without ruining the overall look of the jsk. After awhile I decided maybe it was a sign for me to move on from the past. This had been a dream print from my early days of lolita. I was smaller back then but couldn't afford to buy brand. Besides, I just got that beautiful DDC set the other day, so maybe it was what I should be focused on/enjoying instead. This older set could go up for sale. Hopefully it will go to someone that will love it as much as I did; even if it was for just a short while.
