Tea Time: Totally Nutty!

 Hi friends! <3

Today I'm trying out a tea from Bird & Blend.

$7.90-Bird & Blend: Totally Nutty- UK

Loose leaf tea inside...

All steeped up...

Such a nice dark brown color...

Mmm...

Added a little creamer...

Thoughts:

This was pretty good. The taste reminded me of Life cereal; nutty and with a hint of cinnamon. I think it would be better iced or maybe as a latte. It was mildly better when I added some creamer. I might get this again.

February Sip Down Progress & March Goals!

 Hi friends! <3

Continuing with the sip downs...

In February, I finished caramel shortbread. scottish caramel, gojiberry blueberry pomegranate, strawberries & cream, and strawberry moringa. Continued with holiday chai, raspberry matcha, and grand cru matcha. Tried da hong pao, but wasn't a fan and gave the rest to my roommate. It smelled like hay, but there wasn't anything to it flavor-wise. The scottish caramel was my least favorite. It tasted like dirt with a slight hint of caramel. Adding the leftover cereal milk from my Dunkin' caramel macchiato cereal helped somewhat.

I purchased some new teas, including this one from the Asian grocery store...

I got these for free from a tea fan group online; since someone didn't want them...

I got another tea from Cuppa Culture, and a couple from a new place called Purr-fect Tea which was near an antique mall...

I also got some teaware from thrift stores. I thought the little pitcher would be perfect for doing cold brews...

The mug on the top right looks like a fox and says "cuddle buddy"; so cute...

I saw someone online using the blender bottles for making matcha and decided to try it out...

For March, I plan to finish holiday chai and sticky rice oolong. Start totally nutty, ankara apple, berry berry, chai french vanilla, jasmine green, earl grey in the garden, and white blossom #257. I will probably use most of the single tea bags up in the tea mail exchange I'm doing in an online tea fan group. Between what's left of those plus the new ones I'll be receiving, it should keep me busy lol.

Candy House Ribbon Jsk Opening!

 Hi friends! <3

I had been wanting to get more pink jsks, but haven't been interested in any of the new releases lately. When this older release from Meta popped up on a sales listing, it caught my eye. The price wasn't too bad either.

Ooh...

Unwrapping it...

Unfolded (front and back views)...

Hanging up (front and back views)...

Bodice details...

Print and trim details...

Try-on pic (sorry no petti; didn't feel like digging it out)...

Thoughts:

I love this jsk! This print is so cute and quirky. It has a Hansel and Gretel fairytale theme with gingerbread houses, various types of candy, and some forest animals. The dress itself is made out of cotton. There is a detachable bow, waist ties, and partial shirring. I'm amazed that it fits me. I thought older dresses ran small, but maybe not. While it is more of a sweet style type print, I think it can also be worn in a classic/old-school type way too. I'm looking forward to coording it in different ways.

January Sip Down Progress & February Goals!

 Hi friends! <3

Continuing with my sip downs...

In January, I finished chai vanilla caramel. It tasted like apples and oatmeal with cinnamon. Continued Christmas eve and grand cru matcha. Started the other box of  caramel shortbread, Scottish caramel puerh, raspberry matcha, gojiberry blueberry pomegranate green, and holiday chai. Also tried a couple samples. Strawberries & cream was pretty good the first cup, but did not make for a good resteep. The  herbal blend #625 had a nice clove and cinnamon taste. Not a fan of puerh so far. Liking the holiday chai a lot though.

I placed a shared order with David's Tea since they were having a sale. It came with a couple samples...

I had also placed a small order with Bird & Blend for this special edition tea. It came with a couple samples as well...

For February, I plan to finish sticky rice oolong, gojiberry blueberry pomegranate green, Scottish caramel puerh, and the other sample of strawberries & cream. Continue with caramel shortbread (maybe try as a latte sometime), and holiday chai. Start da hong pao and totally nutty.

Tea Time: Holiday Chai!

 Hi friends! <3

Trying out this tea I got on sale from Tops grocery store.

$2 (on sale)- Stash: Holiday Chai- US

Opening it up...

Single sachet...

All steeped up in my travel mug at work...

Thoughts:

This was pretty good! It had a nice blend of spices and the rum flavoring made it a bit sweet. I think it would be great for during the fall or winter season. I might get it again.
