Dreamy Horoscope Unicorn Ring Opening!

You've by now seen me in many sweet style lolita coords and can safely say that yup she's all about that sweet life. But what you may not know, is that I wasn't always the biggest fan of sweet style. All those pastel colors (especially pink) were quite intimidating. So when I first started out, I wore the darker version of sweet. Bittersweet as it was called was a pastel print featured on a black background. I loved that it toned down the colors and made me feel more comfortable wearing something I loved. When I came across a listing for this ring, I was reminded of those days and decided to get it.

So cute! <3 I already have this same ring but in navy. Although the black version is nice too. The outline is neatly done and all the sparkles are present. The plastic has glitter confetti and is thick and durable. I'm looking forward to wearing it sometime soon! :-)

Angelica Tea Room Meet-up!

I went out for tea with the local lolita comm at a place downtown. Everything was decorated nicely. There was even a tree with lights and various ornaments. I thought I saw one that looked like a bagel. It was great to see everyone and enjoy the food together.

***So shortly after I took this pic, there was a little incident with the tea cup. Apparently there was a crack in it and tea started leaking out down the side, flooding the saucer underneath. I notified the staff who was able to find me a replacement cup and saucer. Thankfully none of the tea got on my dress.*** 

And then the food arrived. Everything was yummy, but I do wish the scones were bigger. They were bite-sized instead of the larger ones I'm used to/see for tea. The sandwiches were cute but not too filling. My favorite was the curried chicken salad...

ILD Christmas Market Meet-up!

For ILD (International Lolita Day), I went to a Christmas public market with some lolita friends from the semi local comm. There was a lot of interesting things like fresh produce, crafts, antiques, etc.

Thoughts:

Such a cute ring! <3 The gold detailing is neatly done. The plastic is thick and attached securely to the golden ring base. I am relieved to see that the 'beige' color is more of a milk chocolatey brown. I'm planning to wear it along with the wrist cuffs in a coord featuring Chocolate Rosette :-)

Sparkly Bow Necklace Opening!

The second item is here! I already have this same necklace in red, but I really wanted to pink version too. I don't know much about this item except it was from a lucky pack Metamorphose released back in 2009 I believe. I think there may also be a black version as well. Nothing was found in lolibrary. It's kind of a mystery I guess

Love it! <3 It is just like my red one, but in pink. The chain is adjustable so you can change the length how you want. The beads and plastic are good quality. All of the little sparkles are present. The plastic also has glitter in it. It will match with a lot of my dresses :-)
