Asa Ransom House Afternoon Tea Meet-up!

Checked out a new tea house with the local comm. Just a small group this time, but it was nice. Might have to go back with a bigger group next time.

The dining room where we enjoyed our tea had some interesting vintage styled floral wallpaper...

A quick look around the gift shop, and then we headed outside for some pics. I loved this cute gazebo they had <3

Once we finished up, some of us headed down the road to an antique market. I enjoyed looking at the jewelry and tea sets. How pretty is this set?

This sofa and matching chairs reminded me of something my grandma might have had. There were even roses carved into the wood trim. I would love to have some furniture like this some day when I have a house of my own...

My small purchase/memento of the day was this beautiful gold rose ring. I think it would go great with lolita and my everyday wear...

Thoughts:

This ring is so cute! I have the pink colorway already and the sax will be very useful in coording too. It is made of the same hard plastic and has silvery glitter in the ring band. Yay! <3

UBCon Day 3 & Mini Haul!

Day 3 (Sunday)

Today was the last day of the con. I frilled up again; in pastels this time. Most of the day was spent helping out in the vendor room and taking one last look around at the goodies for sale. Thankfully I only ended up with just one more item. I went to a tea party panel to enjoy some tea and relax after a such a busy weekend. The tea party had a 90's theme to it. They had music videos from popular 90's music playing while everyone chatted.

I tried out this tea. It was tasty :-)

Pre-Christmas Meet-up!

The local comm had a casual meet-up at a café called Perks that was downtown. It was a great way to chill with friends before the holiday craziness sets in. Even though it ended up being just a few of us, it was nice.

I got this delicious chicken salad wrap that came with a side salad. Very tasty and filling. I only wish it came with more dressing :-)

Ice Cream Meet-up!

Hi friends! <3

I went for ice cream with the local comm and things ended up going not as planned. We were supposed to meet up downtown at the ice cream shop and have a nice time while staying cool and socializing with each other. When I arrived, one girl was already there and said that the shop didn't actually open until a couple hours later. Also, there was a sign on the door stating that the shop was closed for today. Another girl had texted saying they were still on their way there. 

We walked around a bit playing some Pokémon Go and discussing options. We were hungry and decided to grab some lunch nearby. The mall was brought up and we agreed to head over there after eating. We posted our plans in the event page in case someone else was going to come, but no one replied or showed up. So it was just a few of us that ended up going. It was nice and cool in the mall. We got our ice cream and did some shopping too.

I tried a green tea frozen yogurt with mochi topping. It was so good <3

I also got a cute little Mew charm for on my bag...

Tora Con: Day 1!

Hi friends! <3

This weekend is Tora Con and I'm super excited to go and see some friends I haven't seen in while. Last night I already picked up my badge once I had gotten checked into the hotel and dropped off my stuff. The mascots on the guide book cover look cute and the book itself is full of interesting panels and events. I'll definitely be trying to go to all the lolita ones ;-)

There were many booths to browse with numerous of items for sale. This one had a bunch of cute Kirby plushies...

Another had various figures. I loved this one, but that price though... :-(

I only ended up with a few things since I had just bought a lolita dress not too long ago.
