Wardrobe Post: 2022!

It's time once again for the annual wardrobe post!

I've been into lolita for twelve years now (wow I feel old lol), and this is my ninth year doing this kind of post.

The year was full of changes and learning experiences, but my wardrobe stayed about the same. I got some things that I had been wanting and acquired a few wishlist items. I tried to be careful with my spending unless I absolutely loved an item and/or thought it would work with what I already have.

I reviewed the wardrobe goals I set last year, which you can read about at Wardrobe Goals 2021!

I'm just going to be sharing just the newly acquired items this time. Please refer to earlier wardrobe posts for a more complete overview of my wardrobe.

December Sip Down Progress!

Finishing up the year's sip downs...

In December, I finished Harney & Sons pumpkin spice and worked on some misc tea bags. I was gifted a tea advent calendar in a swap, so it was fun to try. Favorites were Tim Hortons pumpkin spice, Stash spice dragon red chai, and Vahdam ginger chocolate.

A travel mug was the only item purchased this time...

Wardrobe Goals: 2021!

It's time for wardrobe goals once again. After reviewing mine from last year, I've decided to not set any further ones. I'm fairly happy with where my wardrobe is at.

Wardrobe Goals: 2021!

1.) Clear out remaining sales items. This may have to be done in small lots or bundles as most of it is offbrand items.

Slow going, but making some progress here.

2.) Style sweet-classic pieces in a more classic way.

I did a coord in the summer, but hope to try more in the future. 

3.) Continue looking for wishlist items. Especially...

a.) Long black bloomers (to wear with gothic style)

I got a pair, but the fit is not quite right. Still looking.

b.) White x sax otks (surprisingly I don't think I have any)

Done! I got a pair from the Lolita Collective website. Haven't worn them out yet though.

c.) Pink jsk with a deer in the print

Done! I got Meta's Lovely Forest. 

Honey Cake Headbow Opening!

Just a quick opening to share with you. I finally got ahold of a mint Honey Cake headbow.

Thoughts:

I like the headbow but would still prefer the original version. This one is made out of polyester instead of cotton. The green is slightly more blue-ish when compared to the jsk. You can't really tell from a distance though. I also noticed that the bow itself is more flat and upright when wearing rather than slightly oversized and at a more relaxed angle. I'm going to keep this one for now and continue looking for the other one.

Winter Festival Coord!

It seems like forever since I last frilled up! The weather is so cold and chilly now, but I wasn't going to let that stop me today. I went to a winter festival with a neighbor friend to check out some local craft vendors.

I picked up this ceramic angel ornament, and a glittery resin skull keychain...

Wore a semi-casual sweet style in lavender x ivory x gold.
